Melody is a junior at Rice University studying computer science and statistics. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she is passionate about the use of data to derive valuable insights for critical decision-making. Her main interests lie in exploring the various applications of data science, particularly in fields such as healthcare and policy.
Looking ahead, Melody is eager to contribute to and amplify BioKind's impact on the Houston and Texas community. She aims to collaborate with a greater variety of nonprofits to enhance BioKind's reach and influence. Additionally, she hopes to involve more Rice University students interested in data science with BioKind, and help them apply their skills through engagement with the local community.
