Faith Murei

Faith Murei is from Nairobi, Kenya, and she is studying data science and economics at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her interest in data science stemmed from using statistics to track economic trends and make predictions in her freshman year macroeconomics class. She was intrigued by how informative graphs can be when making economic decisions or predictions based on decades of data. Faith has also enjoyed working with large data sets for economic research and machine learning processes. Through Biokind, she feels privileged to be able to use her analytics skills to help healthcare non-profit organizations draw meaningful insights from their data and increase their social impact.
