Alex Kornblum

Alex is studying Social Policy Analysis and Data Science at Rice University, and he is from Eastern Massachusetts. He was introduced to the field of data analysis through academic interests in computer science and social sciences, especially social policy. He has since had exposure to applications for statistics and data in healthcare, environmental justice and conservation, and organizational metrics and evaluation. He is passionate about the power of community-focused organizations in making equitable change, and the crucial role of data communication in increasing their impact. Healthcare research ultimately brought Alex to Biokind and he has greatly enjoyed leading projects to benefit both small and large scale nonprofits. He is excited to advance the Biokind mission and support healthcare nonprofits through strong partnerships.
