Rice Chapter: Final Evaluation

After over three months of hard work, the Rice Biokind Analytics teams finally presented their results to the Rice faculty at our culminating event. The faculty in attendance included Professor Kowal from the Department of Statistics and Dr. Jyotikrishna Dass, a postdoctoral research associate from the Data to Knowledge Lab (D2K).

Each team shared intriguing insights that will assist our partnering non-profit organizations and the communities they serve. Additionally, the teams received valuable feedback on their presentations from both the faculty members and the other students. Now, they have the tools they need to make their last improvements and successfully present their analysis to their non-profits.

Here are some photos from the event:

In these past four months alone, Biokind Analytics has analyzed more than 100 million dollars in combined donations, successfully conducted six projects, and officially registered as a 501(c)(3) organization. From an idea that started this past summer to a successful end to this semester, all of this would not have been possible without our wonderful members and advisors.

We thank you for making our vision a reality.
