Masha Zaitsev

Masha Zaitsev is studying statistics and biochemistry at Rice University, and she is from Salt Lake City, Utah. Before coming to college, she took part in research at a biomedical lab and had experience working with different aspects of healthcare including healthcare nonprofits. She was initially very interested in the healthcare industry and planned to pursue a career in it. After taking several data science courses at Rice and interning at a start-up software company, Masha realized that she really enjoyed using data to investigate the different challenges that businesses face. Being a part of Biokind Analytics allows her to pursue both of these passions. Masha is excited to use her cross-industry experiences to help the nonprofits and support the causes she cares about.
