Tumi Samuel-Ipaye

Tumi is studying Data Science and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and she is from Lagos, Nigeria. She initially came to college wanting to study solely economics but after taking a python class her first semester, she became intrigued by the intersection between economics and data science. She is passionate about the use of data analysis and machine learning to make predictions, decisions and solve problems in businesses and other organizations. Tumi is excited to use her analytical skills to help non-profit organizations better understand their data and make more efficient decisions while working with other talented student data scientists and statisticians.
