Lucien Chen

Lucien is studying math, economics, and data science at the University of California San Diego. Originally from San Jose, California, Lucien was first exposed to statistics in high school where he took AP Statistics, leading him to want to pursue an education in a quantitative field. He is passionate about taking data, transforming it into valuable insights and creating a positive, lasting impact. His current interests span finance, data analytics and engineering, as well as educational technology. Through his experience with a nonprofit for many years alongside the skills he acquired through his studies, he hopes to assist local nonprofits in pushing their boundaries and expanding their horizons.
