Samantha Cui

Samantha is studying statistical data science and managerial economics at UC Davis, and she grew up in China. Samantha decided to pursue a major in Statistics after taking a class where she was intrigued by how the professor was using data for problem-solving. She continued exploring this interest by working as a data analyst for a local business. Meanwhile, she is actively trying to enhance her technical skills in using RStudio, MATLAB, and Python.
When analyzing data, Samantha always has one goal in mind: to create value, whether it's through profit generation or increasing donor retention rates. She believes that BioKind’s purpose aligns perfectly with her goals and interests, and she is excited to continue working with fellow undergraduate statisticians in carrying out its vision.
